National Sales Manager
The National Sales Manager will drive the commercial strategy, planning, and execution within Hungary's healthcare market. This role involves spearheading sales initiatives and business development efforts for assigned customers while providing internal stakeholders with insights into the market and competitive landscape. The National Sales Manager manages account team operations to ensure the achievement of business objectives within the budget and on time. They are responsible for crafting and implementing innovative, tailored strategies to increase sales and market share, aligning business plans with both customer and company goals for short- and long-term success. A deep understanding of market dynamics enables the National Sales Manager to develop strategies that drive incremental growth in sales and market share, ensuring financial accountability and the delivery of company targets. The role also includes managing the performance and development of the assigned team, including setting and assessing customer-related goals and results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve all assigned financial objectives, focusing on top- and bottom-line sales and trade spend.
- Oversee the activities of team members to ensure customer business plans are successfully developed and executed, adapting to changing market conditions as necessary.
- Act as a role model for subordinates, fostering growth by coaching and mentoring Key Account Managers to support their personal and professional development.
- Lead strategic meetings with customers and senior-level engagements.
- Develop and implement forward-thinking strategies with senior decision-makers for both the customer and the company, focusing on both short- and long-term goals.
- Create and execute innovative, customer-specific strategies.
- Drive the annual and quarterly business planning process for assigned customers, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
- Lead the customer-level forecasting process and oversee the analysis and tracking of key metrics to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues and opportunities.
- Ensure proper distribution, stock levels, and market share among customers.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver company and brand strategies and achieve business results.
- Set and evaluate annual objectives, goals, and performance measures for third-party partners.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.
- Actively participate in regional and global Key Account Management communities, sharing and applying best practices from other markets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is required.
- 10+ years of consumer products experience
- FMCG experience is a strong advantage
- Fluent English spoken/written
- Comprehensive knowledge of consumer products, brand strategies, and the ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex problems successfully.
- Comprehensive knowledge of retail customer store operations, structure, strategy and retail execution tactics
- Experience in dynamic transformation of the team, go to market, relations with customers
- Proven track record of dynamically elevating performance
- Strong communication/presentation skills, with the ability to translate the company strategy into customized customer plans.
- Resolve competing priorities for the team and the customer relating to product group, category, or brand.
- Open minded and accessible leadership style, with the ability to consistently achieve positive results. Proactive leadership style with natural ability to develop others.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, complex, changing environment
- Ability to develop reporting staff to full potential and to build leaders/successors for the future
- Proven track record of delivering results through customers

- Strong negotiating skills, with the ability to influence up one or more levels to include senior leaders across and through the customer organization
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and CRM applications
