HPE Sales Manager


The HPE Sales Manager will be responsible for managing product lifecycles, optimizing inventory, and driving sales through effective partnerships and direct customer engagements. This role demands a blend of product management expertise and sales acumen to ensure HPE's products are well-positioned in the market and meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Conduct regular visits to manufacturers and customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with Presales colleagues and other departments such as marketing, finance, and logistics to ensure seamless product and sales operations.
  • Lead project-based sales efforts, including proposal development, contract negotiations, and project management.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and correspondence. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Product Management:
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. Regularly review stock levels and adjust orders accordingly.
  • Oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of products.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from launch to discontinuation. Develop and execute strategies for product introductions, transitions, and end-of-life processes.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive. Conduct regular price analysis and adjustments based on market trends and competition.
  • Conduct regular market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use this information to inform product and sales strategies.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts to support inventory planning and production scheduling.
  • Prepare regular sales and inventory reports for management. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
