Site Industrialization Manager
Mission
- Manage the Process team of its perimeter.
- Define the industrial guidelines for its perimeter (process, equipment, plant layout, …)
- Assure process objectives deployment and level of compliance within the site
- Manage and assure the coherence of the industrialization programs within the site perimeter
- Manage the industrial investments program for its perimeter
- Monitor machine performance and improvement plans
- Responsible to lead industrialization following (Industrial Project Management) procedure
Responsibilities
- Responsible for industrial technologies of its perimeter
- Manage and animates the Process Expertise of its perimeter
- Coordinates the interfaces between its site and the Process Expertise Center
- Manage the industrial teams in its perimeter (plant, production and industrialization)
- Manage the industrial plan of the site
- Coordinate and push standardization program project for product and process of its perimeter
- Participate to Technical Committee
- Manage and validate industrialization projects, with experts support
- Define the program allocation
- Apply the rules for equipment and tools standardization
- Define programs and Budget Target
- Master Site Industrial Performance and deliveries, Direct labour, Quality and Asset Utilization.
- Support daughter sites during ramp up and processes issues
Secure industrialization activity
- Follow and control the industrial schedule, resources and budget to reach the project Target
- Alert the organization when standards are not met
- Represent the industrial organization of the project in internal or external (customers, suppliers) meetings
- Ensure respect of safety and LEAN rules and guidelines during the process development.
- Ensure adequate interaction with the product development team to perform simultaneous engineering
- Follow pre-serial trials as part of ‘Serial production’ activity, of progressively increased volumes
- Ensure respect of all standards in terms of environment, health and safety risks prevention compliant with the HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) system. Manage applicable sections of the Safety, Quality and Environment Policy of the site
Contribute to plant strategy planning
- Follow and control CAPEX with Industrial teams
- Actively contribute in the resource planning in regards of Industrial PTMs, Test engineers and LEAN/VPS engineers
- Contribute and ensure plant strategy in terms of new products
- Establish plan on plant level to improve expertise in Industrial
Manage standards
- Facilitate Industrial standard creation on plant level and push to keep by each team
- Ensure VPS deployment (VPS V5000, standards, workshops, FOF tools and Group or regional VPS initiatives) in all APUs and Logistic departments.
Manage continuous improvement
- Organize training for 5S, Product respect, Kanban, Continuous flow, lean industrialization in accordance with plant priorities
- Do OJT to coach engineers/technicians and other members on application of LEAN tools and methodologies
- Permanently help to detect and react to non-conformances against
- Manage a productivity action plan
- Manage workshops (5S) and participate to stop scrap activity
Work safety and environmental and ESD protection
- To keep the instructions of the environment, work health protection systems policy and document order and discipline
- To practice the defined legislation in the law of work, fire and environment protection and as well to cooperate with the employee through the fulfillment of obligatory.
- To cooperate with the organizational units in the sake of keeping and practicing the standards and as well the environment / work / fire protection legislation and other requirements
Education/Requirements
- University degree in the field of electronics, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering.
- Professional Experience - At least 5-year related work experience in automotive industry
- At least 3 years experience in the field of Industrialization.
- At least 1 year experience in team management is needed.
- Negotiation level English knowledge
- German language knowledge is an advantage
